The HRC has been family owned and operated since its inception prior to 2006. Since that time, another member of our immediate family, Dr. Nancy Mora, successfully started her own payroll and accounting business under Moramax, Inc.. Until recently, both the HRC and Moramax had discussed the possibility of combining its services. The purpose? To provide convenient and affordable HR and accounting services with greater business support to our clientele and membership. As a family, it appeared a natural step and an opportunity too good to pass up.

The transition will essentially involve the integration of the HRC into Moramax, Inc.. HRC's business name (Human Resources Consortium) will continue to be utilized as a DBA (Doing Business As) under Moramax. We believe the continuation of the HRC's business name will help with the transition, and maintain a degree of familiarity our clients and membership have come to rely on.

During the transition process, our clients and membership should experience no interruption in both the quality and delivery of their services, including access to the HRC online member portal. Current HRC members can continue to access our HR online resources, such as forms, publications, FAQs, etc..

As a byproduct of our integration with a payroll and accounting firm is the option to bundle or combine both financial and HR services under one service arrangement. This opportunity not only provides a degree of convenience, but also savings in both cost and time. A business can focus on working with one company versus having to work or manage a relationship with multiple vendors.

Current HRC members and client will be receiving an email communicating our upcoming integration, as well as some Q&As to help clarify the transition process.
